Therese Feinauer, owner of Sundancer Books, LLC. said many local residents have been purchasing the book, which is the first book with that number of photographs from both private and public collections. Feinauer said the book is a great compliment to the park's centennial which is next year. "A lot of (people) locally are purchasing it for their kids or grandkids," she said. "What's really neat about it is you have this collection of historical photographs for yourself." Taylor is a Utah native, received a history degree from Brigham Young University and is a graduate student in the historical administration program at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. Taylor's book, by Arcadia Publishing which specializes in local history books, is dedicated to her grandfather, Hal. L. Taylor, who was a seasonal park ranger at Zion National Park.
