After leaving my mom's house, I began to think of everything that has been taking place in my life, and it seems that all I have been acquainted with was ups and downs. Another year will soon pass and still nothing.</p><p>After leaving my mom's house around 4:00 p.m., I believe I got in my car and just began to think. It seemed as if everything possible just hit me all at once: "Life." I'm still single, almost forty years old. Never been married and no kids. Oh, how I desired babies. I just felt completely alone, so I just drove. I've cried my eyes out. Oh, I was a mess. I have never ever been through anything quite like this in my entire life. You know why? I was so caught up in my promise. You know, the things that God promised me. I lost sight of my purpose.</p><p>So when God began to talk to me on Monday 1, 2018, He said, "Nicole, what are you committed to your relationship with Me or the things that I have already confirmed that is yours?" He said, "Your relationship with Me is more important than your promise." God made these promises to you before you even had a desire for them. Are you committed to your purpose or the promise? "The Lord is not slack concerning His promises" (2 Peter 3:9, KJV).</p>
