The children, photographed along with mothers, hats and shoes of great and cheerful variety, are unselfconscious, and Debbie Bailey's text matches them in matter-of-fact ness: ... The "Talk-About Books" have been designed with great care for the children who will see them. Pages are easy to turn, illustrations are large and framed with primary colours, the few words are carefully chosen and clearly laid out. Highly recommended for children three and under.--Joan Skogan"Canadian Materials" (11/01/1991)

The "Talk-About Books" have been designed with great care for the children who will see them...
