A popular lecturer on literature, he assembled anthologies that introduced countless students to American and British poets.<br>Illustrator Robert Jones drew animation for Disney Studios while he was still in high school. His work appeared in a variety of American publications of the mid-20th century, most notably in the <i>Saturday Evening Post.</i>
