Product info

Neo G's Opti-Heal Advanced Woundcare has been clinically developed to provide hospital grade dressings for use at home. Opti-Heal dressings create a moist environment, which can help accelerate healing and reduce pain and scarring. Opti-Heal Silicone Multi Purpose Dressing is a sterile dressing for use on exuding wounds, consisting of a vapor permeable and showerproof polyurethane film, absorbent layer of a non-woven fabric and perforated silicone wound contact layer. It is designed to mold softly to skin without sticking to the moist wound, so you can remove it easily without damaging the skin. Featuring a highly absorbent pad to reduce the risk of skin damage and dressing change frequency, plus the wound contact layer features a high perforation rate for fast wicking and minimal risk of skin damage. Suitable for light to moderate exudating wounds such as: Surgical wounds Cuts Abrasions Skin Tears The perforated silicone wound contact layer prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and reduces pain during dressing changes. The 360 degrees seal is showerproof and protects wound from dirt and germs, helping to prevent infection. Repositionable and flexible for easy wound monitoring & comfort during wear. Made in China Ensure the dressing is the appropriate size for the wound. The dressing pad should be 1/2 inch larger than the wound. 1. Always wash hands before and after treating a wound. 2. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. 3. Remove the dressing from the sterile wrapper. 4. Remove central portion of the backing films. 5. Place the dressing centrally over the wound site. Avoid touching the side to be used on the wound. 6. Remove the two remaining backing films and smooth the dressing down over the skin. Removal The dressing cannot be used continuously for more than 30 days but can remain in place for up to 7 days dependent upon wound condition and exudate level. Examine wound by carefully lifting a corner of the dressing. The dressing should be changed when significant signs of exudate are visible or can be seen pooling around the edge of the pad. Remove dressing by pulling and slightly stretching a corner of the dressing. Gently remove the dressing from the wound bed and dispose. Cleanse wound site as required.
