So, in creating this multivitamin, we focused on what the science says you aren’t getting from your diet — your true nutrient gaps. Our team of experts sourced ingredients to fill those gaps from the places they’re naturally found, using forms proven by research to be effective. You don’t need 100% DV of vitamins A-Z. What you need is the most effective version of what you’re actually missing. <br /><br />Supports your baby’s development<br />We formulated our Prenatal with your baby’s development as our top priority. We included choline to support brain development, as well as boron and silica to support bone health.* And, we incorporated methylfolate, the active and most absorbable form of folic acid, which is essential for neural tube and spinal development.* <br /><br />Gentle on the stomach<br />Our Prenatal was designed to take care of both you and your baby. Nausea during pregnancy can be a real problem, and we wanted to make sure our Prenatal was easy on your stomach. That’s why we included the chelated forms of ingredients like iron and boron, which are combined with a chelating agent, like an amino acid, to prevent the minerals from interacting with other compounds. This makes them easier for your body to digest, absorb, and use more quickly. <br /><br />Superior nutrient forms<br />Not all nutrients are created equally: the way their molecules are composed can impact whether your body can absorb them. While some brands include folic acid, we used methylfolate, a form that is naturally found in the cells and most easily absorbed by the body. We also included methylcobalamin, the active form of B12. We used forms that work harder, in the quantities proven to make a difference. <br /><br />Clean and healthy<br />While some multivitamins and gummy vitamins include artificial colorants, sugars, and unnecessary additives, we chose not to include these because your health products should actually be healthy.
