His debut graphic novel, <i>The Wrong Place</i>, started out as a graduation project and went on to win an award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. Evens's follow-up, <i>The Making Of</i>, was nominated for the Eisner Award and an Angoulême award. His comics have been published in English, French, Spanish, German, Norwegian, Italian, and Flemish. Evens lives in Paris.
