She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Providence College and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College. She is very close with her two younger brothers, Brian and Joe, also represented in this book. Growing up on the Jersey Shore, every summer was spent at the beach in their favorite shore town. It was those experiences as well as their grandmother's insightful advice and charm that inspired them to write this book. What was once a conversation on the beach turned dream has now become a reality!
