Hook and line fishing prospects are abundant, but success does not necessarily correlate with conformity to well know convention. Low magnitude tidal forces, the infrequency of well defined channels, and rapidly fluctuating salinity create seemingly erratic conditions when compared to the predictable rhythms seen in the tidewater regions of the middle and southeast Atlantic coast.</p>
