They became fast friends after meeting in law school orientation in 2002. They were inspired to create a work of art that cultivates fun and memorable moments for children and their families. They put their heads together, and Oakley and Ivan were born. They each have 3 children who served as the inspiration for the first book in the Oakley and Ivan series: Oakley and Ivan and the All-Nighter.</p>
