This notebook is perfect for journaling and features lined pages with fillable date lines and an attached ribbon bookmark. It is made in Ghana with authentic fabric designed by Ghanaian artists and named by the Ghana market community. The fabric pattern on this notebook is called City Ribbon. According to Ghanaian folklore, the fabric represents uniquely crafted ribbons which were a delight for many people centuries ago. They were called city ribbons because they were only available seasonally in main town markets. City ribbons were unique in that they were laced with many fine/uncommon beads and were only traded in barter -you couldn’t buy them with cash. Several years later, this cloth was printed to bring back memories of these highly sought-after accessories. The pattern features bold colors including blue, red and gold.
