She graduated from Sweet Briar College with a BA in dance and a minor in English and creative writing. In 2009, Amy created Mint Parcel, a line of affordable art prints for kids featuring animals, monsters, pop culture figures, and famous literary characters. She has written and illustrated two picture books for Xist Publishing (<i>Nursery Rhyme Time</i> and <i>Annabel on the Go</i>, spring 2016). Amy has also written and illustrated a board book for Pomegranate Kids (<i>The Colors of Ancient Egypt</i>, fall 2016). <br>
