The 3POD B4 B SERIES TRAVEL BALLHEAD is the largest and most capable in the B Series from 3POD ballheads, great for a wide variety of serious tripods and monopod solutions, and sports the toughest, anodized, wear-resistant finish. The17 pound load capacity translates into a confident connection even while in motion. An innovative 'pinch' clamping quick release plate lets you rapidly lockand release cameras with one hand. In line with all 3POD's signature ballhead gems, the B4 employs state-of the art ergonomic design, damping for flawlessly smooth movement and jitter-free panning. One friction locking knob located on the side of the ballhead controls all camera positioning. A twin pinch lever unlocks the quick release plate, and the simple pressure of placement on the quick adapter platform, triggers a trip button and instantly grips the camera firmly in place. At the base of the head, a convenient inscribed 360 dial makes for easy, perfect positioning throughout the ballhead's full range of panoramic movement, ideal for precise stitching edits. 4 bubble levels, 3 on the head perimeter and a 180 circular bullseye, next to the lock lever, assure absolute alignment in any of 3 dimensional planes.
